Showcasing Innovation: CATI at Hannover Messe 2025
CATI Exhibit at Hannover Messe 2025

This spring, Commonwealth Automation Technologies (CATI) was honoured to represent Canada at Hannover Messe 2025, the world’s premier industrial technology trade fair. As part of Canada’s delegation, led by Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen), CATI joined over 200 Canadian organizations in demonstrating our nation’s commitment to advanced manufacturing and clean energy solutions.

At our exhibits both online and in Hall 13, Stand C50, our team shared our latest innovations in fuel cell production equipment. Our showcased technologies included:

  • Fuel Cell Stack Assembly Presses: Designed to address the unique challenges of fuel cell stack production, these presses offer precise servo-driven compression, customizable tooling options, and integrated safety features.
  • Cell Block Leak Test Presses: Combining precision pressing with leak testing capabilities, this system ensures the integrity of single cells or partial stacks.
  • Automatic Leak Testers: An innovative standalone leak-testing unit designed to complement existing presses, with automatic execution of industry standard tests.

These innovations reflect CATI’s long-standing dedication to advancing fuel cell manufacturing, contributing to the broader goals of energy transformation and sustainability.

Canada’s role as the official Partner Country at Hannover Messe 2025 underscored our national focus on industrial innovation. NGen’s leadership in organizing the Canadian delegation highlighted key themes such as automation, AI, digital industry, and green technology. This collective effort showcased Canada’s strengths in developing intelligent systems, embracing digital transformation, and promoting sustainable practices.

Below you will find one of the videos we shared demonstrating a range of automation equipment that we’ve designed and built.

As we reflect on our experience at Hannover Messe 2025, CATI remains committed to driving innovation in energy technologies and supporting Canada’s leadership in advanced manufacturing.
